Best Kidpreneur Ideas

Do you have a kid who is looking to make some money? Are they bored at home and need something to do? Are they trying to learn some life skills? Or maybe you just want them to get outside or off the devices. Whatever the reason, there are many kidpreneur ideas that can help kids earn money or just practice skills for their future! Here are some of my favorites:.

Lemonade Stand

Okay, bear with me here. It’s 2022. Are lemonade stands still a thing? Yea… but they’re not the same lemonade stand you knew in the 60s. This is a great kidpreneur idea for the summer. All you need to get started is a location where kids and families play, some lemons and sugar, pitchers, cups, lids and straws. You can also add some water if you feel like making it more refreshing. Add cookies or fruit snack or anything else that can easily be bought individually wrapped and purchased in bulk. Add some music and décor to your stand and maybe even wear a colorful eye-popping outfit or costume! Have fun with it!

Start by making the lemonade at home so that when you sell it at your stand it will already be cold! When selling lemonade make sure that people know how much they cost by writing the price on your pitcher or cup with a marker or tape so people don't have to ask how much they are before buying one.

For advertising purposes we recommend using flyers with pictures of kids enjoying their lemonades as well as telling people about all the different flavors available such as strawberry, peach mango, etc..

Babysitting

Babysitting is a great kidpreneur idea because it’s flexible and can be done at any age. You can get started as soon as you turn 12 years old, but I’d recommend this job for kids at least 15 years of age or older, depending on the age of the child that needs babysitting. The pay isn’t bad either! The average rate for a babysitter is $12 per hour, but some families will pay more for special circumstances or for overtime hours worked..

Make & Sell Jewelry

There are so many options to make and sell jewelry. There are jewelry making kits you can get from Walmart or Amazon, or you can get the parts from Michael’s and really have fun with creating your own designs! You can then sell these products on your local craftshop or farmers market or online on Etsy or Ebay. You can eventually grow your collection to include bracelets, earrings, rings, necklaces, and even hair accessories and more!.

Make & Sell Slime

Slime is a popular fad that has been around for a few years and shows no signs of going away anytime soon. This is a good time to capitalize on the trend if you are looking for some kidpreneur ideas!

Slime is made by combining glue, water and borax together in a bowl. You can also add things like shaving cream or hair gel to create different colors and textures. If you want your slime to dry quickly, mix in some cornstarch as well.

Buy bulk containers online, slap a label on it that you can create and print from your computer, and you’re good to go..

Snow Shoveling

Snow shoveling is a great business idea for kids. It gives them an opportunity to make money, and they may enjoy the work itself. You can make anywhere from $15 to $30 per hour shoveling snow on residential driveways and sidewalks.

Keep in mind that you will need your own equipment, such as:

• Shovels

• Gloves

• Boots/shoes (depending on how cold it gets).

Sell Things Online (Etsy, eBay)

If you are passionate about a hobby or interest and can make a product that people want to buy, then selling on the Internet is the way to go. You will need to check with the site you want to sell on as they have different rules and regulations regarding what they allow sellers to sell. Also, your product needs to be good quality so that customers keep coming back for more!

Finally, marketing yourself online is an important part of being successful at selling online; this means making sure that there are good pictures of your products and also posting relevant descriptions on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

If you want to bypass creating the products yourself, you may want to opt for flipping products online. Buy them cheap at thrift stores, or wholesale stores or websites, then sell them for profit online..

Pet-Sitting

Pet-sitting is a great way to earn money, but you need to be responsible. You have to have a good relationship with the owners, and you have to be comfortable with animals.

Here’s an example of how it works: You meet the owner at their house and they tell you what they want done while they are away. Then they leave while you play with and feed their pets, clean up after them (they can be messy), water plants (if needed), etc., as well as spend time playing/sleeping/snuggling/hanging out with them as well.

It is not easy work, but it is rewarding when clients come home from vacation or business travel and see how happy their pets are!.

Make & Sell Artwork

Artwork is a great way to express your creativity and put it out there for others to enjoy. It can be sold online or at craft fairs, so it's a good opportunity to get started in the business of art!

If you're looking for an easy way to make money with art, try creating artwork using recycled materials. For example, create some artwork out of old wallpaper scraps or scrapbooking paper.

Or maybe you have an eye for natural materials and want to make intricate sculptures out of leaves and twigs. You could sell these beautiful creations at craft fairs or even Etsy if they're particularly impressive!

Maybe instead of making things from scratch, you'd like something more laid back; if so then why not just create found objects? Like maybe toy cars from cereal boxes? Or maybe little homemade dolls made from clothespins? You could sell these on Etsy too!.

Yard Work

Yard work is one of the best kidpreneur ideas out there. It’s easy to start, you can work on your own schedule, and it’s an easy way to make some cash. You can also earn money in summer and winter, making yard work a year-round option for kids who want to make money..

Sell Seashells

Seashells are a classic collectible, and therefore, a great way for your kids to start making money. Not only do they have the potential to be an easy sell at craft fairs and flea markets, but seashells can also be sold online.

You can even turn this business up a notch by painting designs on some of the shells.

Kids can sell their shells by setting up an Etsy store and listing their wares at the beach with a sign or on social media (Instagram is particularly good for this)..

Washing Cars

Washing cars is a great way to make money. You can start small and work your way up, or go big right away. The most important thing is to be willing to work hard!

You can do it yourself or hire someone else. If you do the work yourself, just use a hose and soap or cleaner to wash the car down. Then rinse it off with clean water and dry it off with a towel..

Writing Children's Books

If you're a good writer and know how to tell a story, then writing children's books could be a great way for you to make money. There are many publishers out there looking for new authors. If your book is published, then you can earn royalties from every copy that is sold. The more copies that are sold, the more money you will make! You should think about this as an investment, too, because once your book has been written and published it will never stop making money--forever! You just need to have a good story and good writing style so that people want to read it again and again....

Live Streaming Video Games

Live streaming video games is a great business idea for kids. You can live stream on YouTube, Twitch, or Mixer by using a gaming console or computer. You can stream on a free platform or use a paid service like Streamlabs OBS to get all of the features that you need to make your channel look professional.

You can earn money by selling subscriptions, ad revenue, or merchandise if you want to go pro!.

Blogging or Vlogging (YouTube)

You can make money from ads and sponsorships. You can monetize your blog by selling your own products. You can even make money from affiliate marketing, which means you get paid when someone buys something after clicking on one of the links on your website. And best of all, if you're an expert in something like blogging or YouTube videos, then creating courses and selling them directly to students would be another way to earn passive income online!

You can have fun and earn money at the same time if you pick a business that suits your interests.

The best part about kidpreneurship is that you can have fun while making money. This is because you choose a business that suits your interests and skills. It also gives a head-start if you end up going in to a similar field as an adult.

Parents will also be pleased with this, because it means that the kids are spending time on something productive and educational, instead of just playing games on the iPad or watching tv most of the time. A portion of the income can even be sent to savings for things like college tuition, 1st car, future wedding or house payment, etc.

It’s important to find a business that you’re passionate about, though! It may take some trial and error before finding the right one for you – but once you do, you could be well on your way to becoming an entrepreneur extraordinaire!

A lot of people would think it’s silly to have a business when you’re a kid, but the truth is that children have been entrepreneurs since long before there were cell phones and social media! If you have any doubt as to whether or not your idea can work, just remember that kids are always coming up with creative ways to earn money—and they seem to enjoy themselves while doing so.

So find something you’re passionate about and turn it into your next big thing!
